Objectives
Specific Objective 1
To compile a list of the best and most promising practice mental health intervention tools targeting depression, suicide and non-clinical mental distress by building on i) what is available in EAAD and from other MentBox partners, ii) what is presently developed within running EU-funded projects (MESUR, EAAD-Best, MENTBEST, RESPOND), and iii) what will be identified by reviewing the recent literature.
Specific Objective 2
To further optimise and localize country wise the content of the identified intervention tools as well as the implementation strategy via a qualitative co-creation process with EU member state Ministries, health professionals, patients, and people from minority (vulnerable) communities.
Specific Objective 3
To work collaboratively with a stable Roma community in Spain to identify those intervention tools addressing the most pressing needs and then to tailor, deploy and test them in Roma communities.
Specific Objective 4
To further facilitate the uptake of the different tools by localising country wise content and implementation strategies via consultation with EU member state Ministries.
Specific Objective 5
To deliver a Final Modular Mental Health Toolbox of interventions and detailed implementation guidance that enables EU member states to practically, and rapidly in a crisis situation, tackle acute illmental health challenges and reduce the burden at the individual and societal levels.
Specific Objective 6
To place the voice of the patient and those with lived experience at the heart of MentBox, including them in the identification, adaptation and development of interventions and implementation advice given to ministries.
