On 31st January 2025, the MENTBOX team took part in a collaborative meeting within the framework of the Joint Action Mental Health Together (MENTOR) initiative.
This three-year project, coordinated by the National Centre of Mental Health in Latvia, brings together 43 partners from 20 countries to promote mental health by sharing experiences across political and clinical spheres. The meeting, hosted by JA MENTOR and chaired by Anna Bulzacka-Bogucka from HaDEA, provided an important opportunity to align efforts, exchange knowledge, and explore synergies within the EU4Health program.
The meeting served as an opportunity to exchange insights with our sister projects, including:
🔹 The ABCs of Mental Health (ABC Mental Health)
🔹 Mind the Mum: Placing Parental Mental Health and Care to the Forefront (Mind the Mum)
🔹 Migration in Mind (MinM): Enhancing access to Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for persons in migration
🔹 Resilient Cities, Healthy People (ReCiHePe)
🔹 MiMIND: Methodology development for migrants’ and refugees’ mental health promotion
🔹 EASE-Y: Promoting mental health wellbeing among vulnerable young adolescents
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the identification of shared priorities among the participating projects. Discussions focused on enhancing communication and dissemination strategies, developing a repository of best practices, and identifying concrete ways to work together on common deliverables.Â
This gathering reinforced the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange in addressing mental health challenges. By working together and leveraging each other’s expertise, these projects can maximize their impact and contribute to a stronger, more inclusive mental health framework in Europe.
Stay tuned for updates on our next steps!
